Homemade Lemonade

With the weather getting better here in Durban, I am turning to one of my favourite lemonade recipes that I would love to share with you on the blog today!

Ingredients for 1 serving:

60ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
140ml Water (still or sparkling)
Fresh mint leaves and sugar are optional

Add all ingredients together - serve with ice cubes if having immediately or store in the refrigerator and serve cool.

Thank you for reading and stay tuned for my next recipe post coming soon to the blog!

Review: L'Occitane Creme Radieuse Hydration Cream

Today I wanted to share a quick review of a new face cream from L'Occitane that I've been using for a few weeks now - this hydration cream with organic angelica water and essential oil is meant for dry skin. The rich creamy texture goes on very nicely on my skin and it leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated for hours. I must say a little goes a long way with this product, I use a pea size for my entire face, a 50ml bottle could easily last me about 6 months. The only issue I have with this product is the packaging, while the frosted bottle is very elegant I really dislike that there is no pump and I always have to use a spatula to get the cream out as I don't want to be dipping my hands in all the time... Overall the cream is very nice and I would definitely repurchase it, if my skin continues to react well to it.

Chanel Desirio Swatch

I've been loving pink nail polish lately and this seasons Spring collection from Chanel has the perfect creamy, fuchsia pink polish: Désirio 643. This pink would look perfect against blues, blacks and neutral pairings to add that nice pop of colour!
