Vegetarian Flammkuchen

Hi everyone, after my last meaty post I promised my next would be something vegetarian. This yummy flammkuchen which I first experienced in Alsace, France is the easiest recipe ever and perfect for a quick lunch or easy dinner.

Ingredients:
1 Onion
200g Mascarpone
Parmesan cheese
Salt, Pepper & Chilli flakes according to your own preference

For the dough I followed this recipe and ingredients.

Generously spread the mascarpone on the rolled out dough.

Spread out the onion rings on the mascarpone base and season with salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Bake in a preheated 180° oven for 12 minutes, take it out and add the cheese on top then place back in the oven for another 2 -3 minutes and you are done!

Super easy to make and if you like you can also serve with a little leafy salad! Enjoy and thank you for reading, Mel.

  5. Flammkuchen is actually a German word and it is very popular around here, particularly during autumn!

    Have a great day,
